Things to Do on a Stag Party in Budapest

The capital of Hungary has a huge amount to offer for the adventurous stag or hen party looking to get their mates in the mood to let loose. As one of the more exotic destinations in Eastern Europe, Budapest has a surprisingly diverse nightlife scene that will have you stag do lads reminiscing about it for years to come.

If you want to take things up a notch, there’s also the chance to make the most of the city’s incredibly lax gun laws and go shooting with the boys. Each stag will be given his own AK-47 (!) to fire at the targets, with all transfers included as well as an English speaking guide to help you navigate the experience.

As well as the more adrenaline pumping activities, there are plenty of more laid back activities to enjoy too. For a bit of culture, why not head to the National Museum or catch a show at the famous Széchenyi Theatre? Alternatively, you could do something totally different and head to the ruin bars that are so popular in the city. Szimpla Kert has been voted one of the best bars in the world by Lonely Planet, and there are other quirky drinking spots like A38 where you’ll find a mix of vintage decor and a more commercial music vibe.

There are also plenty of clubs to check out too. If you’re looking for a big club with top DJs, try Morrison’s 2 in the centre of town where the dance floor is open-air, or Romkert (or ‘Reloaded’) takes the ruin bar look to the next level with two rooms playing chart hits and an outdoor space full of bikini clad girls.

For some chilled out action, the famous thermal baths are a popular spot for stag groups looking to soak up the sights and sip on ice cold beers, while also being surrounded by beautiful bikini babes. Then there’s the option to get involved with an escape room where you’ll have to work as a team in order to complete challenges and crack a code in order to escape within an hour.

When you’re all exhausted from the excitement of your stag party in Budapest, what better way to wind down than on a river cruise down the Danube? The views are spectacular at night, and you’ll be able to relax and drink beers while listening to a top DJ. Just remember to pack your sunglasses and a waterproof coat in case it gets chilly! stag party Budapest
